you play dirty, karma
Yesterday I was driving home in a crazy rainstorm and a tree branch fell on my car, knocking off my sideview mirror. You win, karma, you win.

bragging rights
I'm a sucker for places like Marshall's and TJ Maxx, I always find the best stuff there (I used to be a thrift store queen but the thrift stores around here are ridiculously expensive).
Once upon a time, I found two Alice & Olivia dresses for less than $50 each, a spectacular La Rok halter for less than $30, I could keep going but I'm even boring myself soooo....yesterday I went to Marshall's lurking the corners for a pair of fleece pants and some face cream and came across the Blazer of My Dreams by Theory (value: $250, selling for $70). I ended up at the counter with the facecream (value: $40, selling for $20), a pair of fleece pants($13!), a gorgeous lavendar blouse by Kenar (only $20! I've never heard of them, but I liked it so I bought it), a blazer by Sharagano (value: $380, selling for $30; also never heard of them, but it fit perfectly), the cutest skirt ($8! Wearing it today!) and, of course, the Theory blazer.
By the time the woman had rung me up and I had walked out of the store & driven home, I realized my total was less than $100. The woman had forgotten to ring me up for the Theory blazer. I don't know if its all the good deeds I've been doing (thank you, karma!), but whatever it is- I'll take it.
** So I decided to do a little research, apparently Kenar is going through a little bit of financial difficulty...
